Delta

Git diff pager praised for readable character-level highlighting and straightforward package installation.

Source discussion: Show HN: OmniDiff – Opensource, super fast, content aware Git difftool, in Rust

“Delta has a really nice way to show diffs with its diff-so-fancy mode, it's more similar to GitHub's UI where not only the line is colored up differently but there's a different shade of color to highlight the characters.”

Small WebGL 2 library whose demos impressed a commenter with 120-FPS phone performance.

Source discussion: Show HN: I rebuilt my old canvas 3D library as a small WebGL 2 library – phoria2

“This is super cool, and I loved seeing the FPS stay locked at 120 on my phone. I didn't see this on the website, but do you have any docs that detail how your library compares to other popular options such as Three, Babylon, etc? Definitely giving this a try today. One thing I noticed is that the "hover" functionality in most of the demos doesn't behave well on mobile.”

Hardware-encrypted USB drive praised for simplifying device allowlisting in high-security workplaces.

Source discussion: Lenovo's 'encrypted' fingerprint USB is just an unencrypted SD card in a case

“They work well in high security environments because you can allowlist the vendor and product id of only these hard drives, and you don't have to set up procedures where people HAVE to encrypt their drives before use.”
